Flexible Measurement Expansion with
Masimo Open Connect™ (MOC-9™)

Root offers expandable measurement capability through software upgrades and Masimo Open Connect (MOC-9) modules.


	MOC-9 Ports

	> The SedLine^® brain function monitoring, designed to improve the care of patients under anesthesia or sedation. The core product is a state-of-the-art EEG-based brain function monitor utilizing four simultaneous EEG channels.
	> ISA™ CO2 module for sidestream monitoring with virtually no warm-up time and featuring Nomoline to reduce disposable costs through extended monitoring and use of non-proprietary cannulas.

Root is also designed for third-party measurement expansion to allow other companies to expand the platform with their own measurements through MOC-9—following Masimo’s established development and validation process. Companies interested in developing a MOC-9 measurement can request more information here.
